Troubleshooting

Problems with installing/getting VoiceSauce access to Praat
- I will walk you through how I tracked this down
  1. Replicate your environment/steps you took
  2. Track down where error message is coming from in VoiceSauce m-file code
- I think the problem is that VoiceSauce can't find Praat!
- How might this happen? You need to be in the directory where VoiceSauce is installed, and where Praat/ is a sub-directory
- Take a look at the relevant code:

    fprintf('Praat not found: please install Praat through the Settings menu\n')
    err=-1;
```

Remember your by-hand measurements? Let's try doing some benchmark testing of our own. Make textgrids so you can make sure you're doing measurements over the same timepoint in the wave file.
